Design Guidelines and Building Covenants

These guidelines are intended to help you get the most out of living in Mitchell Creek Green. The guidelines form the backbone of building covenants registered on individual lots and are intended to maximise the value of your investment, complementing the natural surroundings and enhancing the quality of the community as a whole.

Submission of plans for developer’s approval

As part of the building covenants and to comply with the terms and conditions of your sales agreement, all house plans need to be submitted for Territory Life’s approval prior to commencing construction.

Required documents include:

  • a site plan that indicates setbacks from boundaries;
  • floor plans and elevations;
  • a Stormwater Management Plan (SMP);
  • an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP);
  • a Landscaping Plan;
  • a Materials and Finishes Schedule and annotated;
  • illustrative elevations or 3D renders;
  • completed Guidelines Checklist on each element.

Letters of approval or refusal will be returned electronically along with any comment or suggestions to rectify, if required.

Once home construction has been completed, purchasers are required to contact Territory Life to undertake the necessary post construction inspections to provide final sign off.
